This is your first essay, and also your template. Copy this file, rename it, change the title and date, replace these words, and add a line to the list on the homepage. That's the whole publishing flow.
Write the way you talk. Short paragraphs. One idea at a time. The point of a site like this isn't volume — it's that the few people who matter can read what you actually think.
A subheading, if you want one
You can use the usual HTML tags inside an essay: links, bold, emphasis, lists, quotes, and code.
Pull-quotes work for a line worth lingering on.
And inline code or a block:
